Dave Zimmerman the founder of Dial11 Event Solutions, brings to the company over 30 years of experience in event, theater, and project management from a diverse range of companies and organizations.

Dave Zimmerman has been producing, directing and managing events and the performing arts for over 30 years. In the 90’s he served as resident musical director for various theaters and schools in North Jersey (The Growing Stage, The Barn Theatre, Dover Little Theatre, Magic Carpet Players, etc.) as well as youth choir director and later youth group leader at the UMC at Newfoundland, NJ.

In 2000 he was hired to create a community arts program around the new DeBaun Auditorium, a 450-seat historic proscenium theater on the campus of Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ. The program he created included a theater series featuring original and traditional plays, musicals, and Shakespeare; a modern dance series; a music series featuring many local artists, from folk and jazz to classical; a spoken word and visual arts series; and a family series, featuring daytime as well as weekend shows for children.

He also founded The Theater Company of Hoboken, which involved actors of all types (professional and amateur) and all ages, to create an atmosphere where everyone can experience and enjoy performing while learning from each other.

In 2013 he was promoted at Stevens to Executive Director of the Office of University Events, which expanded his role at the university to also include scheduling rooms, conferences and events on campus and general event management. During the next ten years he would plan, manage and run nearly all large events on campus such as graduation, orientation, alumni weekend, career fairs, and family weekend.

In January 2024 Dave established Dial11 Event Solutions, to be able to use his expertise to help others in managing and producing the performing arts and large, milestone events. Soon after he also started a part-time position as managing director of the popular Riverview Jazz in Jersey City, producing two large-scale festivals each year
